I’m passionate about aesthetics, perfection, mixing colors, and creating harmonious environments. I like to work intelligently, bringing exceptional results that go beyond the existing standards. the ability to use a few resources made me learn to acquire only what is really important or useful for me and my work.
I am a storyteller. I use more than
just a camera in the act of capturing pictures. I bring: all the books I've
read, the movies I've watched, the music I've listened to and the people I
love.
My photographs represent hope for my
people, so they are very colourful, as they serve as the colour that paints
their hearts and feeds their dreams.
I grew up in a humble family in
Matola, more specifically in the Trevo neighbourhood, Mozambique. Nothing
that I am nowadays is common in my neighbourhood. The difficulties of life consume
my people's time and doesn't allow them to dream. Every day the battle in Trevo
is always the same, to supply basic needs. I thank God and my parents for
creating the conditions for me to dream, and that's why one of my biggest
dreams is to help my country, starting with my neighbourhood.
Photography
came into my life in 2015 and with time I discovered several skills inside and
outside the photography realm, that equip me well as an artist. I have a good
attention to detail and enjoying playing with my aesthetics and employing
minimalism in my creations. My willingness to explore new ways of capturing
images and honing my craft has allowed me to continue my evolution as a
professional photographer.
With time I fell in love with
photography and today it represents everything for me, if shooting without
being paid was the condition to remain a photographer I would continue anyway, Photography
is the tool and expression that I use to free myself. I forget the problems of
life and become a better person.

258 GALLERY I 2022
I founded 258 Gallery to promote not only my artworks but other Mozambican artists from different art fields and now I have 9 artists I curated one collective exhibition and we sold 2 artworks so far. I see 258 Gallery has a way of promoting culture and art, and future will become one of the references in the country because I’m following international Standards now I’m looking to create a network and learn from the experts of the industry.

In the last 6 years I’ve been directing commercial campaigns and in my previous work I collaborated with Bitcoin which they were looking to shoot a campaign called BitCoinforthe100.com; I directed a campaign for a clothing brand and I did the rebranding that matches the clothing identity;
I did a campaign for a prestigious hotel in Mozambique: Hotel Cardoso 100 years old and they were looking to express the rebuild in photos with a few words;

I founded this Studio production in 2015 where I have photographed for major international companies and several embassies in Mozambique such as ADRA ORG, UNAIDS, AURUM Institute, and BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION Maputo.
I recently did Installation shoots for two galleries in Italy: ARIA ART GALLERY & FRANCIONE ARTE and Zeitz MOCAA in South Africa;

Photo Contest - Embassy of the Netherlands in Mozambique | In 2017 the embassy launched a contest for artists to create a work that represents the relations between the two countries, and my work was the winner.;
